Chapter 13
Dear Diary,
I'm back.
Today's a good day. Though I'm sick, down with the cold, cough and slight fever, my heart feels warm from all the messages I've received from concerned colleagues and students. Apparently, many have been reading my diary, though I thought it was supposed to be private and confidential. :\
Apparently, I heard that many people enjoyed the lessons so far. Thank goodness. All I can do is sigh in relief because I only want to bring the best lessons to the students - they deserve it. Isn't that why I'm here? Isn't that what I'm here for?
I've heard news about Naya's new school and I have to admit - it's going to be amazing. I have full faith in my friends. :) I can't be more proud of them. I'm sure it'll be a blast. I should pay them a visit soon.Borealis Academy of Magic. Wow.
My thoughts are very scattered at the moment because I'm feeling so unwell. Veela Covington just sent me a cup of chai latte (my favourite go to 'feel better' drink). I can't be more grateful.
Last night, I didn't get to write because I spent almost the whole night discussing with Julius about the mid-terms and finals. It was really funny because we ended up talking about life more than History of Magic. It because more of an update-about-each-other's-life session. I really haven't laughed this hard for the longest time. Not since that faithful day at least. Apparently, Julius has been talking to the students a lot more than I thought, or should I say, the students have been approaching him. I have no idea what the talks were about because he refuse to tell me about them. Back to mid-terms and finals, thankfully we agreed on a great number of things, so that made the work a lot easier.
For now, I'll just sip on my chai latte and sit back on my chair coughing my lungs out.
I'm feeling all miserable now and the nurses at St. Mungos weren't able to figure out what's wrong. It might have been the overworking and dust in the office that have caused the illness to get aggravated.
Some of the students were camping at the Room of Requirement the other night. It was very bad because a few of them looked like they haven't slept for days. With those dark circles around the eyes (particularly Molina Jame), it made them look a little creepy. I tried to persuade them to sleep but to no avail. Well, it was worth a shot.
I shall go back to my grading.
