What Is Chaos Magic?
Chapter 2
Chaos Magic or Kaos magic, is a lose form of post modern magic, that uses belief system not used in many magics. Most magics have a set ritual, god or belief system to fall back on. Chaos magic has a open belief system that allows all magics and rituals to be used within it. Chaos magic has little restriction depending on your beliefs. This means you can bring and discard gods for your use in Chaos magic. This is tricky though. To discard a god that might be allied could possible get you killed by said god. If they are the type for vengeance. Picking your allies in magic is important. More on how to contact or create contracts with gods and spirits in Volume 2.
Chaos magic is all about will and belief. Mostly on how you do it is up to you. Whether you focus through meditation, dance, singing or other expression this particular magic is about emotion or lack of emotion. There are basics to understand you cannot break without extreme consequences. Three rules to keep in mind when practicing this might upset gods or universal powers if broken.
1) Equivalent exchange, Alchemy does have this right. Gods and universal powers actually care about the price. This can range from just your energy to Human sacrifice.
2) No Universal rewrites, do not mess with the fabric of time and space, it doesn't end well and honestly gods do not take kindly to their work being undone and you could end up doing more harm than good if you change too much.
3) Time Travel is bad, this speaks for itself. Honestly going back in time you cannot actually change some of the destinies of people. The events have to happen for the universe to progress.
