Chapter 4
The students dragged their feet against the stone floors of Hogwarts’ many halls, whispering among themselves and occasionally speaking too loudly, only to collapse back into a silent fit of giggles. As each group of students traveled together in small bands in an attempt to hide from teachers, they saw the paintings move around and whisper warnings, aiding the students in sneaking to the Slytherin Common Room.
At the end of every weekly quidditch game, all the students crashed in one house common room for an epic sleepover. No one had the energy to go to their own room, and this way the house elves could prepare a feast of junk food for after each game to bring out.
When the swarm of students finally reached the Slytherin portrait hole, everyone found a spot in one of the dorms or in the common room. Of course, it was required that all students have extra mattresses under their bed for this occasion, so everyone always had a place to sleep.
By the time everyone fell asleep, it was 6:00am. Slytherin was filled with snores and sleeping students, and everyone lay happy and content. This was house unity at its finest.
