Chapter 5....The New Beginning
Chapter 6
I found myself in the darkness and saw the pool. Realizing I’m in a Moon-share. “Star?” I called. My call was answered with a stream of light. I closed my eyes, knowing somehow it will turn into the kind of light last time. I opened my eyes, Star was in front of me. “Why did you called me?” I asked.
“I thought you know.”
“It’s about Sophia, isn’t it?”
“Yes, and I like to say you find the correct person.”
“Really! Finally, it took a lot of time.”
“But I can’t say you succeed. She needs to say it’s her herself.”
“Yeah, I know.”
“And that’s actually all I want to say,” Star purred and stand up. She jumped over the small pool and sit by me. her silver fur was beautiful! I want to pet it! But too sad I can’t. she probably won’t let me. “So, what is this place? Why is it all dark?” I coaxed.
“It’s left by our ancestors. We all call it entranced pool.”
“All the word you all say are all so magical.”
“Yes…”
“Is ther-…”
“Sorry, but that’s all we can talk about,” Star stand up and jumped back. As she was jumping back, her tail starts disappearing till her head, so she already disappeared before she even landed. I opened my mouth in shock. That was a magical sight. Now it’s only me, alone in the dark. I wonder when I can wake up. I put my hand in the water, the water is cold. Then I used some waters to wash up my face, hoping that somehow I wouldn’t be tired after I wake up. I stand up to keep trying to walk to the corner of the room. At a certain distance, around me was actually nothing now. I can’t even see my finger. Then I closed my eyes.
I opened my eye to see that I waked up. Did I actually figure out that way to wake up? I looked at the clock, exactly 6:50.

I’m in school on my way to my locker, hoping that I can meet Sophia here. After all, I don’t even know if she was in this school. I pass by the teacher’s office and came back. Maybe I can ask one of the teachers. I opened the door, teachers were all working. They all look at as I walk in. it’s a little awkward to have this kind of attention. I walk into the inner room, which is the principal’s office. “Mr. Stuart?” I called the principal. I heard he answered from my back. “Mr. Stuart?” I turned around, “does this school have a student name Sophia Canmore?” “Um, let me see,” he just looked at the student list paper, “Well, we do have a new student named Sophia Canmore.” “Okay, thank you very much,” I thanked. Then I walked out of the room.
She is in this school! What a day. I better tell this to Mia. “Ring!!!” the bell rang. Oops, I don’t have time to check my locker now. I’ll just go to class then. I ran to P.E and saw Mia was there. “Hey,” I greeted.
“Hello!”
“I just asked Mr. Stuart if Sophia was in this school. And guess what? She is a new student at this school!”
“Yesss!” Mia cheered, “She’ll probably come in in any second now.” “Silence!” P.E teacher hollered, “We have a new student here, let’s have her in.” I watched as Sophia stepped into the field and stats to introduce herself: “Hi! I’m Sophia Canmore, I moved here from England. And I wish we all can be friends.” Then we clapped our hand for the new student’s arrival. P.E was very fun until it’s over. Sophia definitely noticed us. We started a conversation but the teacher interrupted: “Excuse me, no conversations here.” Then we start to run laps, Sophia was not the best at it. When the whole class was done running the laps which it’s the time the class’s over. Sophia finds us and said that she wants to talk with us. We all know that she’s actually telling us she knows the answer to the game. “I want to tell you that I lied last night, I actually know the answer to the riddle,” she says quietly, “Which is Trouble will come if you don’t find them.”
“We actually already know,” We both said. “You’re really bad at lying.” “I am?” she laughed.
“Just one more thing,” I said, “What is your magic?”
“Magic? I supposed to have magic?”
“You don’t know?”
“We all have a magical object. I have a watch that can control time and Ember has a snow globe that changes the weather,” Mia added.
“Cool, but I don’t have one. I only had a moon-share.”
“Well, maybe you just didn’t find it yet,” Mia guessed. No magic, that’s weird. Did star not gave her magic? “Ugh…” I silently complained. All those things about magic are just so hard. I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but I’m getting frustrated by this whole magic situation.
