Chapter 2...New Ally
Chapter 3
Suddenly I woke up, I don’t feel like I’m full of energy, instead, I feel tired. But I need to go to school today, what if I slept in class? I struggled up and washed my face, it feels a lot better now. This is probably the cost of having a Moon-share. I opened my bedroom door slowly, trying not to wake anyone up. I looked at the clock, it’s 6:50 right now, I have not to wake this early before. I decided to wake up early, so I came back to my bedroom to change my cloth. It’s very cold in the morning, I quickened my pace to my closet. “Ah!” when did the snow globe come to my table! Is it following me? I try to ignore it and ran to my closet, but it was again appeared, and this time was in my closet. I ignored it again and start to changed my cloth. I was so scared that I can hear my heart thumping.
I picked up a jacket and wear it, I can’t stop looking at the snow globe. As soon as I was done, I ran out and slam the door. Seconds later, my grandpa opened my bedroom door and said: “Whoa, that’s a hard slam,” I turned my head to see my grandpa standing in my room. Of course, someone has to hear the slam. “Yeah, that was loud,” I confessed, my grandpa looked at me from down to up and say: “You’ve wake up early.” I nodded. “I’m was going to brush my teeth right now.” He stands aside for me to get out. Then I ran out, part of me don’t want the snow globe to keep following me while the other parts hope it would. I headed for my parent’s room’s bathroom to brush my teeth, so I will pass by my parent’s room. I opened the door. It was empty, they already went to work.
Probably because the snow globe didn’t follow me so I did all the things quickly. Now the only thing for me to do is grabbed my backpack. I feel an extra weight in my backpack as I pulled it up from the sofa. I don’t even need to check what it is. I know it’s the snow globe. I don’t care, it won’t give me any trouble. I picked up the backpack easily like I always do. “Let’s go,” I told my grandpa.
“Woohoo! Friday night!” I cheered silently as I heard the bell rang. The class exploded into chattering also as the second they heard it. I pushed my chair in and grabbed my backpack. My spot is at the very last of the line as ABC order, but every time someone will stand behind me as they forgot their actual spot. But I won’t tell them though. Suddenly I saw Mia Bandini walking to me. she is the popular girl in the school. She has long brown hair and 2 beautiful blue eyes. I like her very much. “Hi,” she said, smiling, “Do you want to play a game with me?” I nodded, a little surprise, I never thought Mia would want to play with me. But then the line starts to move. I looked at Mea, hoping she would say something like let’s go out first. “We’ll go out first then,” she said embarrassedly, I can’t make out the reason. We walk out the hallway together, we didn’t say anything as we walk through it. “Good bye, have a good weekend,” the teacher said as we pushed the door open. I followed Mia, she leads us to a very private place. I wonder why, it’s just a game. “I felt very weird taking you to a place like this just for a game, but we can ignore it,” Mia hesitated, “the game’s rule is I say the first sentence and you connect the second sentence. So…there are two others out there…”
That is Star’s word, how did she know? Is Mia the two others? I decided to try, “Trouble will come if you don’t find them.” Mia’s eyes widened, “Whoa! You know.” Then she lowered her volume a little bit, “Do you know Moon-share?” I think it’s very clear that I’m the person that she’s looking for, but maybe she just wants to be sure. I nodded and probed: “What’s your cat’s name?” I saw Mia’s expression from doubtful to certain. “Dark-line, he is a very malcontent cat though,” she giggled. Then I followed her out of the private place. As we walk together through the sidewalk, we talk about lots of stuff about magic.
Mia spoked: “What’s your cat then?” “Star,” I answered with my head down, looking at my boot. I was wearing a black boot with a yellow star decorated on the side. she spoke again: “Do you have a magic stuff? I have a watch that can be controlled time.” What is the magic stuff? Oh! The snow globe. “I have one. While I’m walking my dog Bubble, I saw a light. It was made by a snow globe. And I was curious about it. so I touched it and I was trapped inside. And I get out by climbing a tree.” That was a lot of explanation. Well, I think it was. She won’t have any more question now, right “We’re here,” I suddenly heard Mia said, I look up to see that we’re already at our sub-district, Mia was pushing the door for me.
I walk through the gate door and waited for Mia. “where’s your house?” Mia asked suddenly, “I mean I could go over to your house someday.” “Why not your house?” I asked. “Well, it can be my house, but I thought you will be less tired from running over to mine and yours.” When Mia said that, I actually feel regret by asking her why. She’s doing it for me and now that I know the reason, I’ll have to do it in return. If I don’t go to her house, I will be like a selfish person. I can’t decide what to say, so I choose to be silent.
“But I can still go to your house if you want,” Mia added. I nodded and told her where my house is. Then Mia spoke again: “My house is right there in case there is an emergency.” I followed her hand to a house with lots of flowers in the front yard. “I think we should go home,” I suddenly said, “I just feel like it was really late.” Mia nodded agreement. Then we both headed to our own home.
My house was the third house count from left, so it was very close. I unlocked the door using a key and I got in. Bubble was waiting for me behind the door! She jumped on my knee and I pet her. I changed my shoe to the slipper. When I‘m done, I throw the backpack on the sofa and jumped on it. “Home is so comfortable!” I thought, completely let myself melt into the softness. Thinking that tomorrow I can explore more things about magic made me feel more excited.
