Chapter 1...The Night

Chapter 2
It was an evening, cold and dark. Me, a 14 years old ordinary girl with long black hair named Ember Yearwood, however instead of gathering around a fire was arguing with my dad about walking my dog Bubble… and just at that very moment, my story began.
“Then you don’t like Bobble,” my dad said.
“I knew you’re going to say that!”
“Ember, if you know, then why don’t you go and walk the Bubble already!”
“Cause I’m lazy!”
“Then lock your phone and no game today and tomorrow!”
“Fine! Fine!” I said quickly. My dad has an app download on his phone which allowed him to lock my phone whenever he wants. I put on my coat, then I leashed Bubble. When I’m all packed up I told my dad: “And I knew you’re going to say that too!” Then I ran out of the door with one last glance at my dad. When I get outside I realized the wind was blowing hard. I was wearing my biggest coat and I still can feel the cold breath of the wind, it went through my coat to my skin and I shivered. “Why did I have to do this on a cold, freezing night!” I thought annoyingly as I walk down the sidewalk. Suddenly something catches my eyes, something was glowing in the dark!

“Magic?” I guessed, but that would be impossible. The light fainted slowly. What would do that instead of magic? I start walking slowly to where the light had been. The more I was closed to the spot, the more certain I think it’s magic. When I was closed enough to see what it was, it was found out to be a snow globe.

I reach out to take a better look, but as soon as I touched it I was teleport to a place I don’t know! I felt my pant and my hand is uncomfortably wet, I immediately struggled up. It’s snow! It’s so deep that it can reach the top of my boot. What is this place?! I began to wonder around, nothing was there except a tall tree in the middle. As I struggled through the deep snow, I bumped into an invisible wall. “Ouch,” I complained
I turned around and wiped away the hair that has covered my sight. Am I inside the snow globe? If I am, I have to find a way out! I looked around for an exit. Thirty minutes have passed, Bobble starts to shiver and I still can’t find the exit. Where is it, where is it, where is it! Is it on top of me? I never checked up there. Wait, there it is! it’s on top of the tree! But suddenly I realized if I were to get out of this snow globe, I need to do tree climbing, I don’t even know how to climb!

Well, I still need to try. It’s the only way. I put the leash down and ready to climb. It takes me a few tries to even put my leg on the first branch. I spend 15 minutes to finally be at the top of the tree. All I need to do is jump out of the exit now, but what will Bubble do? I realized I can’t bring her up here to exit. I’ll jump, losing one is better than losing two. But Bubble... Just pretend you’re a very greedy person! just jump out! I jumped out of the exit without delay. The next second I feel myself lying on the ground, it’s grass. I’m out!

Suddenly I feel a disgusting lick. Disgusting! But so Familiar…Bubble! It’s a Bubble! I jerk up my head up, it was Bubble! “Bubble!” I gasped, I hugged her, it’s so surprising! She actually got out of the snow globe with me!
Thinking of the snow globe, I have a feeling that I want to take it. Even it’s quite dangerous, but at least it’s still magic! But I wonder if it counts as greedy. No, I won’t take it. I will regret it for what I did. Thinking of other’s safety, I pushed the snow globe into a bush using a twig. It’s been a long day. I really want to go home. I walked slowly to my house, looking back, again and again, to see the faint light of the snow globe disappeared.
“Where am I?” I thought. I looked around, around me was endless of dark, all I can see is a pool. My reflection glows brightly in there. Suddenly the water ripples, I jerk my head up to see bright light shines on the other side of the pool in front of me, but too bright for me to keep my eyes open. When I reopened my eyes, I saw silver furs, a cat! It let out a purr of satisfaction as the light fainted slowly. “Hi, I’m Star.”

I gulped, too scared to say anything. “Sorry if I scared you, let me explain what was happening right now.” she continued, “So every five years I find a child who knows about magic, you’re lucky it’s you. There are also other cats that I believe it’s quite important for you to know, they’re called: Water, and Dark-line.” I listened carefully, but I still can’t believe it. “This probably it’s a dream,” I guessed, but then I realized it can’t be a dream if I can control myself in it. I decided to ask: “Is this a dream?” Star nodded, “In our world it’s called Moon-share, “paused, “I’ve come here to give you a message actually.” “What is it?” I asked curiously. Star flicked her ears. “There are two others out there, trouble will come if you don’t find them…”

“What does it mean?” Star didn’t answer me. Suddenly everything around me starts to blurry. The last thing I know is a voice echoing in my mind, it seems to say trouble will come, and it will be a big one...
