The Day

Chapter 1
Voldemort Day?! PLEASE TELL ME IT’S A JOKE! Was it April Fools? No, because it wasn’t George’s birthday yet… Halloween maybe? I was never great on dates but this was strange. A day dedicated to my father? A day when he was recognised. When I was recognised.

People were happy and yet it was as if it was a forced happy, making this world even more wrong than it already was. I wanted, needed it all to go back to the way it was. It was the only way life would return to normal.

My skin was white, icy, and felt as though it had miniature dragon scales woven into it. My skin looked shiny as my hair was even darker than usual. I wanted Charlie to be there with me. I longed for my friends and family to surround us. With darkness around I had to think of my own Patronus to get me there I couldn’t allow anything to take me in. I’m so glad I took music. La…La…La…, La…La…La…
