Whatever you do, don't look them in the eye and speak the truth.
Chapter 2
They say DoN't LoOk ThEm In ThE eYe AnD sPeAk ThE tRuTh. Why not?
A large bird grabs my hand. It picks me up, and we soar. It turns into a girl...with a polka-dot dress. Why is she here?
She tells me something: "You are broken." I don't argue.
My brother grabs my arm and I stare at my feet. He twists it and I start crying. I fall to the floor and he scoffs. "That
didn't hurt." He says. Yes it did.
I smell something...wait, no I don't. This is a dream....than why do I smell...?
This can't be happening...panic attacks…I don't have them. I just convince myself I can't breath. My knees are buckling under all this weight (tick, tock, tick, tock...) and I just, I just can't seem to breath right.
A small girl sits at my feet. She tugs at my pants. "Why won't you look at me?" she asks. My eyes burn with tears. The little girl is me. "Why aren't you proud of me?" she asks.
I turn around and look her in the eye. "Because you remind me of my mistakes!" I yell. Than everything is gone.
