A Guide To Hogwarts Is Here
This is a guide to everything at Hogwarts is Here, from the classes to the essays. More content will be added when I have completed all the classes and have more time. MAJOR revisions will come in the next few days because of the Professor change and I want a new format to make it simpler.

Tips And Tricks- Appealing
Chapter 8
Appealing is a process in HiH where you resubmit your assignment for review in hopes to get a better grade. Normally, the grade is terrible and you want to explain why you think you got a better grade. I haven't appealed yet, even if my grade was lower than what I wanted. However, I would still like to share my own tips and tricks for preparing appeals if I did. When appealing, here are a few things to keep in mind:
1. Do not be rude- The teachers or PAs have already graded your assignment once. You are using up their time to grade an assignment that already has been graded. At least show some respect in your appeal.
2. Make sure that there is something to appeal- Even if it is an essay, make sure that you did a good job before appealing. If there were grammar mistakes and points were taken off, do not appeal. In automated tests, I recommend the student not to appeal unless they are absolutely sure the answer is wrong. These have already been edited and pre-programmed into the computer.
3. Be careful- Some teachers may lower your grade in an appeal due to rudeness or actually catching more mistakes. When appealing, be careful to not drop to a lower grade than you already have!
Please note that you cannot appeal grades above 80% in DADA. This opposes other classes where it is above 90% to appeal. Remember that to appeal, just check the gradebook and click on the appeal option. I recommend to review your assignment as a whole first and reflect on what was right and wrong about it. Otherwise, good luck with your appeals!
