A Guide To Hogwarts Is Here

written by Brendan Ly

This is a guide to everything at Hogwarts is Here, from the classes to the essays. More content will be added when I have completed all the classes and have more time. MAJOR revisions will come in the next few days because of the Professor change and I want a new format to make it simpler.

Defense Against The Dark Arts (Dada)

Chapter 3

I am not going to go over the specifics of each lesson; it is your job to reach them yourself.  This includes the content of the lesson and books, and the homework required.  However, I will give a more in-depth description of each class.

As mentioned earlier, DADA has a multi-faceted homework submission, meaning you can submit in different formats.  The tests are of medium length, and the essays are manageable (not too long).  The highest one is no more than 600-700 words.  The lessons go over creatures, such as gnome, and spells like Flipendo.  They teach identification, avoidance, first aid, etc.  There are one or two projects, but none are too lengthy.  Another notable thing is that there is no book to reference this course with.  This makes a straightforward take notes on the lesson and do the homework.  The appealing for this system is slightly different because they will not accept appeals over 80%.  Just try your best, and learn from your mistakes.  Personally, I found this as an interesting and enjoyable class.
