Born in 1715, François Armand was born to a powerful witch and wizard. He was born in Marseille, France. He attended Beauxbaton Academy of Magic. There he excelled in his studies - and became a potioneer. Eventually he found his passion among one of his many odysseys in Peru. He found himself studying the ancient lore of Alchemy. 

François T. Armand, moved to New Orleans, Louisiana and created a shop in the French Quarter for Alchemical purposes. He died 103 years old. His legacy lives on within Hogwarts, as his great great great grandson, August Theo Rubedo is a powerful Alchemist.
