Chapter 1- New Beginnings
Chapter 1
It was never hard getting over a loss of someone you care about so dearly; neither was it easier knowing that you may have caused it- been the spark of it perhaps.
Delilah Helate was in that position right now and frankly, had no idea on how to cope with it.
It started off as she had finally persuaded her team to send her off on what seemed like a simple mission-little did they know it would have turned out to be the complete opposite. Her older brother would be coming along aside her helping her on the task which lied ahead. They had just set off when already something seemd off. Everything just felt...wierd and off-putting. The snow was lying in heaps waiting for the two to step foot and ruin the beautiful blanket of white that had settled over the green meadow.
