Poppy is a gypsy girl in the Seven Kingdoms. She has the gift of being a true Seer, and she has the Seer's Mark: a blue eye tattooed behind her ear. Chapter 24
Liana beamed. "You girls are the first ever pair of Seer twins. You will stay with me and train."
Poppy stared. "Train for what, exactly?"
"Train to become Seer Guidances, of course. You will live here and teach other young Seers how to use their powers."
Daisy smiled. "Yay!"
Suddenly, a tap at the window startled everyone. A small pigeon sat on the sill, a scroll tied to his neck. Poppy reached out, untied the scroll, and took a look.
"It's from Jeorge! He said that he is now a duke of Paralin. He'll visit soon, and he wishes us well."
That wasn't everything the letter said. Poppy tore off the last bit of the message and placed it in her blouse, in a hand-sewn pocket next to her heart.
Daisy smiled. She and Poppy raced over to their mother, embracing one another, happy to be reunited at last. The door to the cottage swung open, and their father rushed to join them. Everyone was happy in that little cottage by the shore.
