Poppy turned towards her sister. "Daisy, there's something I forgot to tell you. I had a dream last night, where I was standing somewhere by the seashore. I saw a little cottage with red shutters, and I knew I wanted to get there, but the wind kept blowing me back. It pushed me down into a hole, and I fell off of the bed."
Daisy snorted. "And then I threw a boot at you. I don't think it's a big deal."
Her sister was blase, but Poppy thought there might be a meaning to her dream. "What if that's where the end of the map is, and we have to get there?"
Daisy threw her hands up in the air, causing Henna to dicker. "Fine. Believe that if you will, but I think it was just a weird dream. I don't object to your fantasies, but I think we need to keep going."
Poppy obliged unwillingly, still ruminating as they cantered over the Hopedon hills. She took in a deep breath of the fresh, salty air. It tingled on her skin and whipped her hair into a cone. The air smelled exactly the way it had in her dream. As they rode over the crest of the hill, Poppy spotted a small ramshackle hut with scarlet shutters. They were there! Tarran raced forward, sliding down the hill and towards the cottage. It was just like in her dream!
