After getting my wand I got the rest of my things. Books, a small
cauldron, candles, potions, an astrology set, and much more things I had
no idea what they were. I met up with Hagrid and we got ice cream.
"So Hagrid, when does school start?" I asked him.
"In
a month or so. Professor Dumbledore wants you to get some studying in
before you start at Hogwarts. All the professors have agreed to tutor
you. But beware Professor Snape. He's the potions teacher. He has a
nasty and ugly temper."
"Thank you for the heads up." We passed a dark alley and I asked what was down there.
"That there is Nocturn alley. Don't get caught down there or people will think your up to now good."
"Okay.
I think it's interesting. I might go down there at some point." I tell
him. He grunts because I ignored his warning. We go to the pet store and
I enter. The shop was small but all the animals were cute. I saw a door
at the back of the store that said 'No Not Enter. Or be eaten.' My
sense of adventure started up and I opened the door. Inside was a large
room filled with baby dragons. A few blew fire, while others made water
squirt out of their mouths and noses. A few flew over to me and landed
on my head and shoulders. I laughed. I heard the shop owner come over.
"What do you think your doing in here!?" He yelled.
"These are so cute. How much for one?" I asked him.
"It's
illegal to have a dragon for a pet. I have them here for a very wealthy
client." He said. A pure green dragon with yellow eyes nuzzled it's
head on my cheek. I saw the owner smile a bit. I lifted up the dragon
and sat it on the floor. I left the room and looked around. I saw a
really nice looked light brown feathered horned owl but I wasn't sure if
I wanted an owl. So I left.
  I found Hagrid. We left to find
his motorcycle. After a while searching for it, he got in as did I and
we left for Hogwarts.

It took an hour and fourty seven minutes to
get to Hogwarts from sky. He parked his motorcycle by his hut, and
walked my up to the entrance. He showed me the way to Professor
Dumbledore's office and left me there. A giant griffin statue stood
guard in a space hollowed out in the wall. The statue started to move up
and stares appeared. After a moment it all stopped, then started in
reverse. Soon a man in old looking robes with a long white beard and
glasses was standing in front of me.
"Hello, you must be Ebony. I am Albus Dumbledore. The head master of Hogwarts. Are you ready?" He asked me.
"For
being here and knowing I'm a wizard, yes, for learning everything this
school has to offer, not really but I'll try my best." I said smiling.
He grinned.
"Good. Follow me. I'll show you where you can stay for
the time being." Dumbledore lead me up many stairs (which moved!),
passed paintings that could move, or rather paintings which were alive,
and to a door with the Hogwarts crest. I opened the door and the room
was beautiful. It wasn't something I'd imagine in a school, but who
cares. Everything was tiger print or tiger images plastered onto
everything.
"So I guess you know what I am then, right Professor?" I asked him.
"Yes.
The other professors know as well. But that won't cause any trouble
with your learning. Now unpack and get some rest. You start tomorrow. Oh
and a uniform has been put in your closet. I suggest you wear it soon
to get use to it. Once the students return from summer break you'll be
wearing it every day for lessons. And on the first day, you will be
sorted into a house to live."
"But, can't I stay here? Please. Of
course being sorted into a house is what must happen, but I would feel
more comfortable to be somewhere private where I can shift into my tiger
form. I don't want to scare anyone. And also, I'm shy with new people.
Unless they give me food." I say with a small smile.
"As long as it doesn't disrupt your lessons, you may stay in this room." Dumbledore says. I go up and hug him.
"Thank you so much sir." I feel him pat my back and he leaves. I unpack.

 I
met with all the professors. And once I met Professor Snape, I knew I
was going to have a bad time here. But then I saw something sparkle in
his eyes and I knew then that he wasn't a bad person, only portrayed as
one. The month flew by in a blur. I learned everything I could.
herbology was fun. Professor Sprout was very proud of me for my use of
fertilizers and healthy soil to help plants get better from being sick.
Transfiguration was also fun with Professor McGonagall. She was very
impressed with my tiger self. I let her pet my fur and she giggled.
Seriously, she giggled like a little girl. We spent a lot of time
together. More so then any student and teacher should. She became my
family.
  Potions wasn't easy. Professor Snape kept snapping
when I mixed in the wrong ingredients. He gave me a test every two days.
I passed them all. Thanx to studying. I passed everything he through at
me. And soon we were on a good basis. All my lessons were getting
easier. Hagrid was helping me learn about different magical creatures
and how to take care of them. But soon the month ended and the students
were returning tomorrow evening.
  Dumbledore called me to his office. I sat in a chair and he spoke.
"Ebony.
You are doing very well with your lessons. I'm most pleased with the
news and reports all your professors have given me. And since you are a
fifth year, your courses will be difficult. And you will be taking
classes with other fifth years. Because of this I must ask if you could
change your appearance." I gave him a confused look. "Its only because
the only students here wouldn't be use to seeing another student with
pure white hair like yours."
"Alright. I'm keeping the white, but I could put in some streaks. That will look more modern and I don't mind the change."
"That's wonderful. Now you may leave. And dress nicely for tonight. I will be introducing you to everyone."
"Alright.
See you tonight sir." I left and turned into my tiger self. I ran all
the way to Diagon alley. I went into the hair dressers and asked the
lady to put in black streaks. She did. I payed and then turned back into a tiger and ran back to Hogwarts.
  I change into a nice outfit, pulled my hair into a pony tail, did my make up and left for the Great Hall.
