The Reason Why
Chapter 3
At school that morning, Rae felt amazing. She had new friends and better fashion sense. She sat down in class, right next to Violet.
“Hey, I saw that you live a couple houses down from me!” Rae said. “Yeah, wanna come over later?!” Violet replied. “Yeah! Of course!” Rae said.
After school, Rae walked down to Violet's house. It was nice, big, and clean. You would think that they would have a great time, that they would become closer as friends.
Veronica and Rae became closer too. She was actually really nice, despite her mean person persona.
Rae didn’t really come closer with Vanessa, because she had lot’s of sports, and was in theater.
Rae had other friends at school, which part of it was thx to the V’s. She had gotten into orchestra and was playing the Cello.
She was a B student, which to her was ok, not the best, but ok.
One day, she was walking down the hall and saw Veronica running in the opposite direction. Rae was going to get knocked over if she didn’t move, so she moved out of the way.
“Hey R.P!” Veronica said, smiling as she zipped by. Rae couldn’t help but blush. She kept walking.
Violet came up behind her.
“Ahh! Violet!” Rae said, turning around. “Help me,” She said. “With what?” Rae said. She pointed across the hall. There was a guy, not any guy, Jake, the captain of the football team. “Jake?!” Rae said. “Yep” Violet said, blushing. “Well, I'm no good with boys, I actually never had a boyfriend.” Rae said, she kept walking. “WHAT?!” Violet screamed, turning heads.
Rae kept walking. Violet ran to catch up. “It’s just that I'm not that interested in boys,” Rae said. They left it at that.
