Chapter 1
On the 1st of September 2020 I sent by daughter off on the Hogwarts Express we were obviously nervous but we went back to The Burrow with everyone for a traditional lunch. It was wonderful to be honest I wonder if this is like Christmas for Molly because she loves it so much.
Draco was invited to come with us but was too down to come. I feel like he is always down. He hates being around the Potters, Weasleys, anyone.
At 5pm I was sitting down to dinner when I got an alert from Professor McGonagall.
“POTIONS STOCKS RAIDED” My reply was instant. “WHAT IS MISSING?”
Her answer appalled me: “BOOMSLANG & LACEWINGS” I couldn’t believe it. This had been something we had feared for a while. The reason I had direct contact with her. I knew that this was the main ingredient to Polyjuice Potion. I couldn’t say anything, not now. So, I just said “BLAME PEEVES”. I put my little boy to bed and waited for another alert. I knew there would be one but I just didn’t know what it would say.
It came at 6.30pm “TWO MISSING STUDENTS” That was not enough. I needed names, houses, years.
Everything. My daughter was on that train I needed that information. “WHO?”
“SCORPIUS MALFOY & ALBUS POTTER” as I looked at the names;
I couldn’t believe it. Scorpius? Escaped? My mind went blank. He had been a little down recently, not as bad as Draco was but to go off? And with Albus? “MINISTRY”
I left Charlie and Bertie and went to the Ministry of Magic. How could this have happened?
