Nott the person I want to know
Chapter 1
Not the person I wanted to come into contact with on a daily basis, Theodore Nott was neither in my year nor my house at Hogwarts. He was however, a person that I knew. He was placed in Slytherin house a year below me.
As I understand it he watched his mother die when he was young because of his ability to see Thestrals. Other than that I don’t really know much about him. He was a friend of Draco’s and used to be one of his “other gang members” along with Pansy Parkinson. He was one of those that always looked as though he had had a sudden growth spurt but never done anything about it. He was weedy and stringy. I remember that his father was a Death Eater, and had been at the Malfoy Manor because I had seen him but I don’t ever remember seeing Theodore at the Manor. Perhaps that was just me, being kept out of the way.
When it came time to either fight or flight, I’m afraid Theodore Nott became like a younger Mundungus Fletcher. He chose to flee the scene. Preferring not to get involved. He was a coward. A terrible coward.
These days he is often caught by Aurors and Law Enforcement Officers for stolen goods. This summer he was apprehended for the use of a stolen and illegal time-turner. I will not be surprised if, in a few-years-time, we end up putting him in Azkaban. His crimes are however minimal and his debt to society relatively unsubstantial.
