ASTORIA: He’ll be fine, won’t he?

SEVERINA: Don’t worry Auntie Astoria, You all did fine!

(The group manage to hold in a small laugh)

SEVERINA: What?

(they smile at her)

LOUISA: Why don’t you find Lily and Hugo. (the kids run off)

DRACO: People are still talking you know.

CHARLIE: Lucky they’re all looking at the trio then.

DRACO: It’s alright for them Potter, Granger, Weasley, those names are fine but Malfoy. He’s cursed before he gets on the train.

ASTORIA: Don’t say that Draco. He’s not cursed.

LOUSIA: WE know who he is, what he is and there is nobody that can tell us differently. (She holds Astoria’s hand)

CHARLIE: I don’t see why, I mean he looks just like you Draco

LOUISA: Look, we have to accept that our kids are going to have to understand who we are. I know that life for any
relation of Voldemort or a Death Eater is going to be tough. I also know that Potters, Grangers and Weasleys have it hard.

ASTORIA: So, you’re saying he is going to have a rough time.

CHARLIE: The long and the short of it, of course he is, but it won’t stop you worrying.

DRACO: He knows everything anyway, we prepared him. Told him about the rumours, what people think, things that
I did, things that we did.

LOUISA: (looks guiltily at Astoria) I know. And before you say anything, he asked me. I’m glad he did. It means he feels he can come to me about stuff like this. So, I asked him if he had any… questions. You know the weird ones that people don’t usually ask. He wanted to know what it was like for you. How we became friends. Things like that.

DRACO: That’s what he wanted to know?

LOUISA: Yeah. I said how it was difficult. That it wasn’t something you chose. But you had to do it. And you? I said that I didn’t choose it either.

ASTORIA: So now he knows Draco.

LOUISA: Yeah he can tell them he knows the dark daughters.

DRACO: Is that a good idea?

CHARLIE: Better than sending him off with no idea at all.
