Ever since I became the primary carer in Delphi’s life, I have written letters. I did it because my uncle did the same thing when he started caring for me by writing to his sister. I doubt she knew that I was doing it but I wanted to. I wrote mainly to my father but sometimes I would write a letter to Bellatrix. Why? Because I cared. Because I needed to talk it through with someone. Because I was still grieving myself.

Dear Delphi,

These are the letters I wrote to your mother and our father. If you are reading this then I guess something has happened to me. I don’t know what but I hope it is nothing terrible. Know that I have always cared for you and tried to do my best for you. If you can find a way for us to all be together I hope we can be.
