WHAT DID I DO?!
Chapter 4
The next morning, Pansy woke me up. She hurried me to get dressed so that we could get breakfast before our classes. I did as I was instructed and got dressed, nearly forgetting my green and sliver house tie. We walked out of the dorm and Draco was standing there waiting for us.
“Good morning, girls!” He said.
“Good Morning, Draco!” Pansy replied.
I just waved. I am not a morning person. He told Pansy to walk ahead and that we would catch up soon. She did what she said and walked ahead of us. I was getting really confused.
“Hey, so, about last night,” he started “are you ok?”
“Yea I guess so. Thank you again!”
“Why would he even try to do that? Why would he think that’s ok?” He looked angry.
I froze. Do I tell Draco that we are arranged to get married as soon as school is over? I looked down at my feet. “We are in an arranged marriage. I have known him all my life and so he thinks that we should date before we marry. I don’t want to marry him or date him. I have someone else in mind. But he is in an arranged marriage too.”
He looked angry and confused and hurt at the same time. “I’m never going to date him, Draco. Not until I marry him. And if I decide I don’t want to, I will run away.” I tried to comfort him. I could see a smile growing on his face.
“Thank you. Again, I’m sorry Blaise is a jackass.”
“There is no need to apologize. Now lets go to breakfast.” I returned.
Before we left the room, I made a decision that would affect my life at Hogwarts forever. I decided to kiss Draco Malfoy. Not the on the cheek as a friend kiss, but the I’m in love with you as if we’re dating kiss. Hi pale lips were so cold. He was so caught off guard he froze for a second. Then he decides “to hell with it” and kissed me.
I pulled away reluctantly and walked out the door. He followed and we just walked in silence. When we got to the great hall we acted as if nothing had happened. When he sat down he winked at me. I couldn’t tell if the Draco Malfoy was in love with me as much I was with him. Soon all my questions were washed away with the memory of the kiss. WOW. He could kiss. My thought were soon interrupted by Pansy alerting me it was time for class.
