I wish I knew what Delphi wanted to say to me, to Bellatrix. But I don’t I know that she missed the idea of having a real mum. That we were only an aunty, a sister. She hates that I didn’t like her mum, that Charlie’s mum killed her mum. She hates that she didn’t get to meet her mum properly. I did. I think she hates me for it. Maybe it isn’t hate because hate is such a strong word. I find she resents me for it. She resents what I have done, who I have known and that she never got the chance.

Dear Bellatrix.

Would you believe that me of all people would raise Delphi? I doubt you would have liked the way we raised her. But you are not here. What can I say to you. She is an amazing girl, we are sending her to Durmstrang on the guidance of Narcissa and Lucias. I know she misses you or more likely the idea of you. Please know that she is loved.
