Weasleys of Sweden

In Sweden
Chapter 1
On the 15th June 2009 Miss Severina Weasley was born close in Jamtland, Sweden. Close to various relatives at the time. We lived there because it is the Swedish dragon reservation, at the time it housed various Swedish dragons, including what was described as a sea serpent. Personally, I described them more like sea horses but they responded to parseltongue so who can say.
Storsjön is the fifth largest lake in Sweden, and means “big lake”, having grown up around icey water I think we can all agree I had an understanding of it. The city of Östersund is located on the east shore of the lake, opposite Frösön. It was important to be near a city because if there was a problem we would have someone on hand. Just in case. Where we lived is in-between Kopparberg and Arjeplog. They are small places but there is an Annual broomstick race held every year which is brilliant fun. Everyone gets together and the Weasleys of Britain, especially when you have a top Quidditch player in the family, gather together. We usually like to Apparate from Kopparberg to Arjeplog to watch them come in. It is a distance of some three hundred miles but they manage it very quickly.
I think that Delphini felt isolated out there but when we went to the city or out to another place she was always better. It also meant that owls could be sent. When Delphini went to school she didn’t have friends but she knew the other kids of the dragon sanctuary. When we moved there from Romania, she was around eight years old, then she went off to Durmstrang and met other children like her.
Soon after she went to school, before it all froze again, we moved back to London. She had the option of transferring to Hogwarts with Teddy but didn’t want to. For the first time in her life, she had friends and wanted to stay with them. I don’t blame her. She came back to us every holiday, where we would spend it with the Weasleys and the Malfoys. But her letters became less often and less informative.
In 2017 Delphini finished at Durmstrang Institute. They even had a ceremony for students when they graduated. Charlie said that he had one but it wasn’t as lavish as that. I don’t remember having one. The year I finished at Hogwarts; I performed a funeral on a headmaster. The year after me fought for their lives. Cedric, I don’t even remember him having a ceremony. Just a load of students saying sorry for the loss. Fred & George didn’t technically finish but went with a bang and Hermione went with all guns blazing. She was going in honour. With every NEWT possible. So, now we have a Swedish-born Weasley in Hogwarts. Let’s just see what the future holds. We are now back in Britain. We probably will be for the next 11 years. There are many Welsh and Irish dragons to help and another Ministry to sort out.
