GERT Free House-Elf
Not many people would have their house-elf attend as a guest. But I wanted him to. To me he was more than family.
ARTHUR & MOLLY WEASLEY
They called themselves “parents of the bride and groom” it was an interesting turn of phrase and probably what made some people think we were actually related, but never mind.
DELPHINI LESTRANGE-RIDDLE (junior maid of honour)
Delphi was still young but we wanted her to be a big part of the event so she was my “junior maid of honor”
HRH GRAPA Woodland Elves
I have performed many ceremonies with him over the years and I asked if he would bind us in an Elvish way which he did as well as a magical ceremony.
GARIT & KARLUCH Woodland Elves
Garit was the one who walked me down the aisle. I asked him because he took me to the Yule Ball.
BILL, FLEUR & VICTOIRE WEASLEY
Bill was Charlie’s best man. Fleur helped with decorations and she was brilliant.
PERCY, AUDREY, MOLLY & LUCY WEASLEY
Percy put himself in charge of the organisation when people arrived and was helped by a junior version of himself.
GEORGE, ANGELINA, ROXANNE & FRED WEASLEY
In charge of entertainment.
RON & HERMIONE GRANGER-WEASLEY
In charge of food. (Hermione put him on one of many diets afterwards).
HARRY, GINNY & JAMES POTTER
In charge of children
LUCIUS & NARCISSA MALFOY
I wasn’t sure if they would come as it was at the Burrow, and her family would be there, but they did. Lucius offered to walk me down the aisle but I declined. It just didn’t feel right.
DRACO & ASTORIA MALFOY
Again, I wasn’t sure Draco would come but I asked Astoria to be my maid of honour which she accepted.
ANDROMEDA TONKS & TED TONKS-LUPIN
I really wanted them to come. It felt like having a part of Tonks at the wedding. I miss her so much, and having Teddy there really helped make the day complete.
XENOPILIUS & LUNA LOVEGOOD
We were working with Luna at the time. She had just started as a magizoologist and we really wanted her to come.
RUBEUS HAGRID
How could we not invite the man that introduced us almost twenty years previously? He gave a wonderful speech but we had to put a muffler spell on him to quieten the noise.
ROLF SCAMANDER
A wonderful man and close friend to both of us. He has worked closely with Charlie and is the reason we came back to Britain in the first place.
PROFESSOR MINERVA McGONAGALL
Head of Gryffindor for both of us, animagus, and another person that gave a memorable speech in fact everyone did.
