The next couple weeks Hermione, and Draco saw each other time to time. Ron disapproved of their friendship, but there was nothing he could do. They were growing closer, and closer. They studied together, eat lunch together, and talked together.

Hermione had realized that Draco had changed a lot. She sometimes heard him, and the little boy Edward talking alone in a corridor. He always tried to make Edward feel better. Hermione loved that he had grown compassionate, of the boy. She also saw he was confident, but not mean. He always said things with respect, unless someone tired out his patience which wasn’t often.

He really had become a kind person. Well, it was a start.


Draco had become quite the observer. He always saw Hermione helping others. She always was there in the corridors, and classrooms, answering questions, and getting top marks. Her mushy brown hair trailing behind her. It was quite beautiful in its own way.

She was very kind to him. It toke them a while to get past the hard feelings, but when they did they were inseparable. They were always doing things together. They had become amazing friends! Much to the concern, and confusion of everyone. “Hermione Granger friends with Malfoy!? No way” they heard them say. It didn’t really matter. They were great friends, and nothing could change it.

But as they growled closer rumors started to spread.
