Chapter 6
It read:
Meet me by the lake, 5:00 p.m., today. Make sure no one sees you.
HG
“Who is HG...“ Draco thought, but immediately trailed off.
“Hermione Granger”
That afternoon Draco walked down to the lake avoiding been seen. He found Hermione in a shabby corner of the lake, covered by tress.
“Shhhh” she said. With a quick wave of her wand Draco, and her were invisible.
“So, about what happened the other day. It’s okay I forgive you. I’ve seen you sometimes when it’s dark helping a little Slytherin boy. I believe you.”
“You do? Thank you! Yes, his name is Edward Johnson. His parents are in Azkaban for serving Voldemort. He doesn’t have friends, I’m the only one who sees him for who he is, not f9r who his parents are. He’s like a little brother to me.”
“That’s really kind of you.”
“Yeah, well not nearly as kind as everything you have done.”
“It’s a start. And what you said the other day, is true. I’m also sorry for all the gossip about your family. As Head Girl I should have stopped it.”
“Don’t worry. I deserve it.”
“My my, you really have changed.”
“I have. I’m truly sorry for all that I’ve done. It is unforgivable. It’s horrible. Im trying to move on, and be a new person.”
“Well if you ever need help, you know who to owl.”
“Thank you. Your the only one who has realized I’m sorry, and I’ve changed. This might be weird, but friends?”
“Sure. Friends.”
