Draco’s return to Hogwarts

Chapter 2
Draco was walking down the corridor, going to Transfigurations. Yes, Draco Malfoy, who’s parents had been Death Eators, had returned to Hogwarts. Everyone despised him. His father was a coward. His mother was a Black. His whole family had been Death Eators. The Malfoy name was in the mud, you couldn’t be less than a Malfoy. Malfoy’s were a disgrace.

He was lonely, and alone. All of his friends were either dead, or angry at him because what his parents did. “They are cowards” they would say, “Malfoy’s just like them.”, behind his back they would say horrible things. Of course Draco knew about this things, and he did care.

He had changed. Ever since the Second Wizarding World Wars, he felt he wasn’t ready. The horror of what Voldemort did stroke him. He was ashamed, and scared. He didn’t want to be a Death Eator, he didn’t want to be a Malfoy for the first time in his life. When the Wars were over he, and his family were caught by Aurors. They gave veritaserum to everyone, and in front of his family he confessed he never wanted to do anything, they had forced him to do it. So, the Aurors forgave him, he was just an unfortunate child. They put him with a tutor Mr. Prescott. A friend of the Aurors who helped him. He hardly saw Mr. Prescott, he was a good man. No doubt. But Draco didn’t really want to see him. He just stayed in his house for the summer. That was his choice, not his obligation.

In Hogwarts, everything was awful. Everyone judged him. He was so lonely. He spent most of his time studying. The teachers were also cold around him. Everyone was. He wanted to shout that he didn’t care about Pure bloods, muggle Borns, the sacred 12, the Malfoys, has dark family, or his past. He really didn’t care anymore. He had become silent, thoughtful, impatient (through he was always that), open minded (he finally realized that where you come from doesn’t matter), and he was for once humble. He was starting to become a good person. Starting.

What he had done, finally affected him. It came like an avalanche. He finally saw he wasn’t even worth more than a beetle for what he had done.

Like I was saying Draco was walking to Transfigurations. Today Professor McGonagall was explaining how the charm she used in the Battle of Hogwarts made the statues come to life. As always Draco was stared with hating eyes. Every time something related to Harry Potter, or Voldemort was brought up he would be stared with “I hate you so much eyes”. He got good grades. Transfigurations was one of the subjects he was a little good at.
