Introduction

Chapter 1
Ravenclaw is one of the four Houses of Hogwarts Academy of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The House was founded by Rowena Ravenclaw. They are known for their wisdom, cleverness, and wit. Ravenclaw, according to Shakira, corresponds roughly to the air element.

Ravenclaws embody the qualities of cleverness, intelligence, wit, academic skill and imagination. According to Slytherin prefect Gemma Farley, Ravenclaws are so aggressive when it comes to academic achievement that they are apt to back stab each other, and possibly other teachers, in order to get top scores. Ravenclaw has taken in numerous well-known inventors and innovators.

Students in Ravenclaw, as well as their excellent intellect, are known for their uniqueness and recognition of others and things that some would deem odd. They can also be bizarre and have peculiar philosophical desires. Although others may be inclined to reject and mock such persons, such eccentrics are widely embraced and revered by Ravenclaws. Although this is not the case, they are sometimes called stuck up.

Ravenclaw House was built by Rowena Ravenclaw. She was regarded as a pretty and wise witch, and her chocolate frog card called her "her time's most talented witch." Rowena enjoyed studying, so she preferred students that displayed cleverness and intelligence.

Filius Flitwick is the head of the House of Ravenclaw. He is professor of charms at Hogwarts and the most competent master of charms alive today. According to the initial welcome letter from Pottermore when Ravenclaws are extremely upset he makes little cupcakes do a dance to cheer them up.

The Gray Lady also known as Helena Ravenclaw is the ghost of Ravenclaw. She barely speaks to anyone beyond Ravenclaw, but is a huge aid for Ravenclaws that are lost.

On the west side of the castle, the Ravenclaw common room and dormitories are located in Ravenclaw Tower. Students use the bronze eagle-shaped knocker to enter through the door. The knocker asks a question to whoever knocks on it and won't unlock the door until the question is correctly replied. If the riddle is extremely complex, large numbers of students assemble outside the door while trying to figure it out.

With arched windows that have amazing views of the Hogwarts grounds, the common room is oval, and a domed ceiling lined with stars like the night sky. It has a white marble statue of foundress Rowena Ravenclaw, and the door leading to the dormitories lies behind it.

The dormitories are in towers outside the main structure, where the wind whistling through the windows can be heard by the students. The four-poster bed sheets are made of sky blue silk.

You already know that Gilderoy Lockhart and Luna Lovegood are some of Ravenclaw's most renowned Members. But did you know that the Grey Lady from Ravenclaw is the least talkative Hogwarts ghost, or that the common room from Ravenclaw contains the most beautiful views of the castle grounds?
