There is no doubt in my mind that despite it including the word “God” we have a good bond with people that we call our godparents. I myself, am godmother to two wonderful people and count myself very lucky to be a part of their lives.

The first person is TEDDY LUPIN, whose godfather is Harry Potter. I went to school and was mentored by his mother, was taught by his father and share a bond with him that only metamorphmagi will understand.

The second person is SCORPIUS MALFOY. I am best friends with his father and was friends with his mother before she died last year. Again, it was a bond of transfiguration that joined myself and Astoria. I wish to say no more.

I don’t consider myself a godparent but more of a parent to my sister Delphini, along with my husband. This happened quite a while after I became godmother to Teddy.

I always knew that Sirius, or Padfoot as I knew him, was Harry’s godfather but I don’t know if I have any official godparents. In general, they are not related to you so I don’t think my uncle counts. All I can say is that I believe, my godmother to be Narcissa Malfoy. I can’t be sure of course.
