The Weekly Owl & The Hogwarts Daily News (Interview)
Chapter 1
The Weekly Owl & The Hogwarts Daily News
Samantha Love: Hello everyone, today I have with me, Sarah Scamander, the head manager for the Weekly Owl. If you don’t know who I am, well, I am Samantha Love, the owner of the HDN.
We both asked each other the same questions so, lets see what the answers were. (This is late, we actually did this interview awhile ago, but we had some problems so now here it is! Please note some answers may be wrong as this was a while ago)
Q: How many members do you have?
Samantha Love: We have around 17 active official members and over 30 interns, but some of them are inactive. We need to do a group clean out to know for sure.
Sarah Scamander: We have 8 members.
Q: What organization do you use at the weekly owl/ HDN?
Samantha Love: We have multiple google slides. That we write and sort are articles into. We are considering adding sections to HDN. Like recipes, news, quizzes, answers, ect.
Q: What topics do you cover?
Samantha Love: We cover a variety of topics, It changes depending on the writers.
Sarah Scamander: We’ve been doing Hermione Lestrange for our fantasy and we’ve done blue whale, covid, and similar things for muggle news
Q: Have you thought about partnering with HDN/ Weekly Owl?
Samantha Love: Yes, we are considering do many partnerships in the future
Sarah Scamander: Yep hehe but not full time
Q: What do yall think about HDN/ Weekly Owl?
Samantha Love: We think the weekly owl is a talented group of students that write articles similar to ours.
Sarah Scamander: Personally, I think the HDN is great, but sometimes, and NO offense AT all, the topics just don’t grab my attention. I feel so bad saying that.
Q: How many readers per article do yall have?
Samantha Love: After 24 hours we have somewhere around 50 reads, on each issue.
Sarah Scamander: About 20-25 each issue
There you have it. What do you guys think? Should HDN continue this partnership in the future?
