1998 slowly crept in and I would be working less with Tonks and more with Proudfoot as baby (hadn’t decided on a name yet) was getting closer and closer. Remus was keeping away but I had been doing research and I still don’t think he would have passed the faulty gene down.

Easter appeared and so did baby Teddy. He was named after Ted Tonks who died just before he was born, I couldn’t believe it. What I also couldn’t believe was how Teddy was transforming but not like his father Remus Lupin, like his mother. It turns out that she had passed down the Metamorphmagus Gene. Everyone watched him though especially for the first year. It was one of those things that gets people nervous.

I could understand. My uncle had been the same with me. Terror strikes so watch out she has snake blood. For him it was always a case of be careful of the werewolf within. I swear they made him take something. But I have no idea what. This was mainly at the age of 14/15 but to me he has always been Teddy Lupin the one like me. It’s nice to have a person that has the same condition as you. You don’t so much compare notes but I was helped by Tonks and it only felt right that I should help Teddy. Plus, we get on like a house on fire.

Teddy was born in April his parents were able to spend a cruel 16 days together. It was once said that it was cruel that I got to spend so much time with them and him so little. And it’s true. I just hope that we can give him an idea of the amazing people his parents were.

He went to Hogwarts at the age of 11 and was sorted into Hufflepuff. I told him that we must all take after our mothers. A trait of metamorphmagi perhaps. He is only just younger than my sister Delphini. He turned 22 this year and is doing very well with his continued education.
