Chapter 14
This year, the Hogsmeade rules had changed. First-years and second-years were able to go to Hogsmeade with a Head boy or prefect and parents' permission. It was snowing. Albus woke up shivering and realized that he had kicked off all the bed covers.
"Taylor! Caesar! Just one week 'till Christmas! And it's snowing! We get to go to Hogsmeade today!" Caesar woke up and said in a tired tone, "Albus come on, it's six in the morning. Wait, what?!" Caesar checked his clock. He rubbed his eyes and got out of bed. Albus also got out and they both snuck upon Taylor.
"Hey, Albus."
"What?"
"You see that glass of water?" Caesar pointed to the water on top of Taylor's dresser.
"Yea. So?"
"It's still cold," said Caesar as he reached his hand into the water. He shook his hand and wiped it on his pajamas. Albus snickered and nodded. Caesar carefully grabbed the glass of water and a smirk appeared on his face. He poured the glass. Taylor burst up in bed.
"Mum! Pffttt. Guys, come on." Albus and Caesar laughed while Taylor wiped his eyes.
"Let's go down to the Great Hall and eat breakfast. " With those words, Albus and Caesar threw on some robes and rushed to the Great Hall.
"Follow me, Slytherins," ordered Izzy Bone, the Slytherin prefect. Rosie and Scorpius ran out of the Hogwarts castle and out into the courtyard.
"Bye, Scorpi," Rosie said, blushing. Scorpius blew kisses to her and skipped off to his group. Rosie's eyes turned dreamy. Albus looked at Caesar with wide eyes and mouthed the word 'wow'. The Gryffindors followed Teddy Lupin into Hogsmeade.
"Now everyone. Split into groups of four. Go with Victore, me, or follow the Gryffindor Heads. Albus, Caesar, Taylor, and Rosie grabbed Teddy and pulled him into Gringotts.
"How may I help you?" the head Goblin banker asked.
"Withdraw money from vaults 467532, 892635, 374856, 927403, and 274927. And," Teddy leaned in close and whispered, "999999."
"Very well. Give me your wands." The group placed their wands in the Goblin's hand. Teddy pulled out an envelope and handed it to the Goblin.
Rosie walked to her vault and the Goblin opened it. Rosie sighed and Albus saw that there were barely any coins in the vault. Albus knew that the pay at the Ministry of Magic was low for those who were not in high positions. Uncle Ron and Aunt Hermione had very low pay.
"You know what? Rosie, come back here. Take some of my money and get your supplies." Rosie walked back to the shuttle, but she still had a glum face. Teddy reached over and patted Albus on the back.
At the last stop, when everyone had retrieved their money, Teddy walked into the vault and came back out with a bulging pocket. Albus didn't know what it was, but for some reason, Albus knew it was going to cause a war. One that would never have started if it wasn't for the Malfoys.
