Chapter 1
"No, I can't " I say, shaking my head in disgust.
The Masons were probably the most richest people in the whole city. Snobbish and haughty. They wanted me to baby sit their son!! Me of all people. I am already sighing in disgust as Mrs. Mason is sniffing, her nose in the air.
"Your parents told us they are okay with it " Mr. Mason sneers coldly. I grown inwardly .
"Why me ? "I ask flatly . " You parents, though middle class, are very decent people " I clench my fists as he leers unpleasantly.
"How old is he? " I spit, regretting it at once. "17" i blanch. 17 ?!?!
" then he is old enough to take care of himself "i say turning on my heel. " we'll pay you . 1000 dollars . just be with our son this summer " he says , sounding desperate now, i stop in my tracks . 1000 dollars ? thats a big amount . i turn around ' Alright " i say harshly , my ears ringing .
what am i doing ? just for money ? but i need the money for my mom .
