Daily Prophet Interview with Grizel Hurtz
Chapter 2
(In an empty classroom, Daily Prophet writer Grizel Hurtz, and Louisa, are each sitting in a chair facing each other.)
GRIZEL HURTZ: Hello Louisa. So I understand you are Professor’s Snape’s niece right?
LOUISA SNAPE: Well, Yes. I am
GRIZEL HURTZ: Very well. How is it like to be the famous feared Professor Snape’s niece?
LOUISA SNAPE: It's just very normal to me. But I don't think you can say that he is famous or feared.
GRIZEL HURTZ: Mm, what a shame. I’m so sorry. (she said this with a fake tone of pity in her tone, and as if she was amused by it) It’s just rumour has it, he isn’t quite the Dumbledore is he, or should I say quite the You-Know-Who. But still, you haven’t answered my question, Miss Snape.
LOUISA SNAPE: I thought this was about being Head Girl if you want to know about Professor Snape I'm afraid you'll have to ask him that question.
GRIZEL HURTZ: (her face turned reddish colour, she was angry) Well, Miss Snape, how do you feel about becoming a Head Girl?
LOUISA SNAPE: (raising an eyebrow) well of course I'm proud to take such a position. Professor Dumbledore must have seen a strength I didn't know was there.
GRIZEL HURTZ: Hmmm, and why do you think are those strengths he saw in you, what are your strengths?
LOUISA SNAPE: Again, perhaps these questions are better suited to Professor Dumbledore. As a Gryffindor I can only say that I hope he chose me for my moral compass, and maybe my passion.
GRIZEL HURTZ: Passions? What do you like Miss Snape?
LOUISA SNAPE: (glancing at the parchment and quill) Care of Magical Creatures, Defence against the Dark Arts and happiness of course.
GRIZEL HURTZ: Mm, very well, very well, what do you think you’ll improve when you are ahead girl?
LOUISA SNAPE: The Professors seem to have everything under control. This year, at least they have the correct teachers for the positions of Defence against the Dark Arts and Potions.
GRIZEL HURTZ: So you think for these year you will just stay and watch what happens?
LOUISA SNAPE: Of course not, I will be on the side lines. Observing, supporting, questioning where needed. We are a unit, and must function like one.
GRIZEL HURTZ: Ah, okay. How does it feel you are now a Head Girl? You know you now have special powers.
LOUISA SNAPE: I feel very privileged to be in this position. I was a Prefect in my fifth year and understand the duties that increase with that.
GRIZEL HURTZ: That’s good. You were a prefect? So, you think Professor Dumbledore saw something in you, right?
LOUISA SNAPE: As I say I can merely hope that he did. I trust in his judgement and am simply glad that meant me.
GRIZEL HURTZ: very well, Miss. Snape, that’s it for our interview, I will notify you when the interview comes out.
LOUISA SNAPE: Thank you
