Chapter 1
It’s an easy enough charm to do and for those of us in the “Transfiguration community” we end up having loads of them just, well because we can. We don’t need a charm or anything like that.
It is no secret that Charlie has plenty of tattoos. Most of which have something to do with dragons. It’s like being with a human painting but it’s the most fun EVER. Some of them he keeps visible and some he keeps… close to his chest. ;D
In 1997, all people were interested in was Harry and whether he had a Hippogriff tattooed across his chest, Ginny, who had started dating him by then was telling people it was a Hungarian Horntail and that she thought it was very macho. I still think it’s stupid especially after all the dark mark talk at the time but anyway. She also told people that Ron had a tattoo of a Pygmy Puff and refused to say where.
There are certain people wanted to get me to make them a dark mark for them but I refused. Luna used to use the charm a lot simply to get a different array of marking on her body at any one time.
Delphi has a tattoo of an augery on the back of her neck. She watched me do Charlie’s and it ended up that the came back from school one summer and had the tattoo on her. I’m not sure what Narcissa thought but I’m sure it was nothing good.
The Tattoo Charm: Corius (Coh-REE-us) press and hold wand on the desired area whilst imagining the image. Backfire is only a mild burning sensation and a black mark. It can be removed with the effect cancelling charm (finite).
There are several questions that I get asked in relation to this.
1) Do I have any - well yes and no I have am a metamorphmagus after all
2) Do they hurt - no these are magical ones not like the muggle ones.
3) Would I let my children have them, yes.
4) Do they move. yes. But they have to be enchanted. Sometimes they disappear completely. two of the dragons on Charlie have been know to have fights and we have had to stop them. It ends up with him looking like a twitch or spasm. You can get some strange looks when people don't realise.
