Chapter 7
*Hermione point of view*
After the sorting was over, we headed to our dorms. I sneaked a glance at the Slytherins that were headed towards the dungeons. Draco looked over at me and then looked away, turning red. I could feel my face fall. Hadn't "Hogwarts: A History," said that Slytherins and Gryffindors were natural enemies? I knew it was true, but I wished it wasn't.
After the prefect had gone over the rules, we went upstairs to the dorms. I yawned and got in bed. About an hour later, I was the only girl still awake. I tossed and turned. My eyelids were getting heavy... Suddenly I heard a tap at the window. My head shot up and hit the bedpost. Rubbing my head, I got up and walked to the window. There was an owl sitting on the edge. I opened the window and stroked its head then took the letter.
Dear Hermione,
Meet me in the 2nd greenhouse in 30 minutes.
