Chapter 3
After dinner she heads off to the library but makes a small diversion towards the Room of Requirement. It opens quickly and she walks in.
LOUISA SNAPE: You’re looking smug Draco, given it a try?
DRACO MALFOY: Not yet but at least he won’t kill me.
LOUISA SNAPE: (sees Crabbe and Goyle) what are THEY doing here?
DRACO MALFOY: Helping
LOUISA SNAPE: (eyes them suspiciously) and you couldn’t think to tell me not to come?
DRACO MALFOY: I’m sorry, Lou. I needed brawn not brains.
CRABBE: (sniggers) Lou.
GOYLE: Girlfriend now. (sniggers)
LOUISA SNAPE: Funny is it boys? If you want your parents to stay alive, I’d shut up.
CRABBE: Parkinson’s not gonna be happy.
LOUISA SNAPE: I’m not his girlfriend and my father…
GOYLE: What? Snape?
DRACO MALFOY: Just help me will you boys.
LOUISA SNAPE: They don’t know do they. Oh this IS fun. (she sits and watches them heave it back).
Let me give you a Riddle, share a little rhyme,
A story that no doubt will take us back in time…
DRACO MALFOY: Not now Lou!
LOUISA SNAPE: Fine they wouldn’t get it anyway. There’s an easier way to do that you know.
DRACO MALFOY: And you’re watching us struggle for pleasure I assume.
LOUISA SNAPE: Actually yes… petronitus reparato (the vanishing cabinet repairs itself)
DRACO MALFOY: Have you been hiding that all this time?
LOUISA SNAPE: No, actually the Brains has been studying in the library and I came across it the other day.
DRACO MALFOY: Well it was…good.
LOUISA SNAPE: I think that was a compliment I heard from you. Thanks.
(CRABBE & GOYLE start chuckling once more.)
LOUISA SNAPE: And you two. (points her wand at them) you should know that SNAPE is my Uncle NOT my father. My father…
DRACO MALFOY: …let’s concentrate on getting this done shall we? I’ll test it now and come back later.
(He grabs Louisa by the arm and pulls her away)
DRACO MALFOY: Would you rather they know who you are or think we are going out?
(She looks at him, the two thoughts had crossed her mind)
