Poems By A Slytherin First Year.
A simple book of poems. These poems are all made by me and are my own personal thoughts and feelings. As time go's on I will add more, maybe even some more morbid ones, I'm not sure. Any ways, enjoy! I hope all that read it have fun.

The World Around Me.
Chapter 6
As I look around me at this world I made,
I see only shattered pieces of a person I was meant to be...
The daughter healthy and whole,
The social butterfly friend that was always there for you,
The bright kid with her whole life ahead of her....
I see what could have been.
And maybe if the world weren't a cold merciless place,
what would have been...
I watch the people around me,
My family and friends.
And as I look I see scars and sorrows,
Along with the survivors and the strong.
This world is full of such hardships,
betrayal and scorn.
And yet as I look around me,
I see that people still fight on.
While it is true that this world of ours may be cold and mean,
There are still many beautiful things here that I have seen.
And though I may be only a simple side effect,
I see the things that you can not through the eyes of a social reject.
Yes, I look around at this world I made.
And as shattered and beaten it may be,
I realize there is no other world I'd rather see.
And that I am thankful for my little piece of infinity no matter how many numbers it may be.
