Chapter 1
I want to make this sound the least amount like a tearful, yet very proud, mum as I can, although I know I will end up sounding just like Ginny. But September comes and it is time for a new set of students to be sorted into their houses. This year my daughter Severina or Sevie as she is known to all of us, starts her first year. She will not be alone of course, she has six family members already at the school her cousins James Potter, Fred Weasley, Rose Granger-Weasley, Hugo Granger-Weasley and Lily Potter are all in Gryffindor and Albus Potter is in Slytherin. We are also firm friends with other people throughout the school, all in different houses. I have no doubt that wherever she is placed she has family.
I think that whatever her brother says about her he will miss her a great deal. I would like to think we have a strong family bond between all of us despite the trials and tribulations that come with family life.
I know that Sorting a Snape is not an easy task, with myself my uncle or my mother. I am assured by Arthur Weasley however that Sorting a Weasley is generally a simple procedure. Is it true that the Weasleys are related to Godric Gryffindor? It would explain why they are all sorted into the same House and why they have bright red hair. If it is true then my daughter is not only an heir of Slytherin but an heir of Gryffindor too BUT heirs DO NOT have to be sorted into the house to which they are descended.
I DO know that both the Weasley family and the Snape-Riddle family are both related to the Peverell family, the legendary family in the story of the Deathly Hallows. Something I have not yet spoken about but rest assured I will. All in good time.
