QUEEN
Name: Olivia of Alera
Age: 19
Role: former Queen of Alera, now a hunter/runaway
Appearance: light brown skin, dark brown hair, green eyes, tall and wiry
Personality: competitive, smart, and fierce, but more loving and kind than most. She doesn’t fit the ‘not a perfect princess’ stereotype, as firstly, she’s queen, so she can do mostly what she likes, and secondly, she likes her job, though she is overworked and exhausted most of the time.
Backstory: Olivia (or Via, as she prefers to be called) was born into the royal family. The civil war fifteen years ago killed almost all of the family, and those who survived didn’t fit the criteria to be queen. In the meantime, Via’s grandmother ruled, but she died and Via had to step in, three years early. However, becoming queen didn’t just give her more responsibility, it showed her the corruption that ran in her family, how much money her family had taken from the people. Terrified overwhelmed and angry, Via ran away after making arrangements for the realm to be taken care of. Four years later, the realm is in deep crisis, so Olivia finally returns to the throne and becomes queen again, hoping to provide stability and peace for her people.
