I heard what John said, i was awake.
I woke up the next morning to find John already up and dressed, looking at his phone, with earbuds in.
"Whatcha listening to?" I ask.
"Diana Ross" He says.
I look at his outfit. Shoes, pants, shirt and a jean jacket.
"What Brand is that?" I ask. I had never seen it before. The shoes had rainbow stripes on them, and so did the pant pockets, and the jean jacket.
"N.H" (My dream brand that I'm currently designing. I need to learn how to sew tho) John said. "They have lot's of LBGTQIA+ apparel. And there is a pride march today, so, i'm going"
"oh" i say. John had a tote bag on him. "What's in there" I ask, pointing at the bag.
"Oh, just a change on clothes, for the conference" John said. He walked out of the room and down the hall.
"i'm confused" i say.

After the pride march I went and changed into my clothes for the conference, a BLM sweatshirt and black pants and shoes.
