John sat down at his table, and had some water and then decided to look at his phone some. He did what he loved doing, re-reading Hamiltons texts.(hehe, texts instead of letters). He looked at a group text with him, Eliza and Alex. He read one text that he apparently hadn't seen.

Eliza: I'm Engaged!
Alex: Honey, didn't I say not to post it here?
Eliza: Yeah, but I'm very excited! I love u!
Alex: love u too

John slapped his hand over his mouth. He felt tears coming to his eyes. He looked up, caught Alex's eye and put his hand by his side. He ran to the bathroom. He just sobbed.

A little while later he went back to the hotel, and got in his pjs and got into bed. He faced the wall.

He woke up a little later and looked at the clock. 2:30 am. He rolled onto his back and stared up at the ceiling.

"It's fine, move on, it's happened before, move on and go to sleep. Even tho he just broke your heart, why does he still have a place in it? Move on, and go to sleep" John said. He rolled over so he could face Alex in the other bed. "Good night" he said.
