Later that evening Professor Dumbledore wanted to question all those he thought had cause to harm Katie or those that he deemed might have a hand in Katie’s accident.

PROFESSOR DUMBLEDORE: I have called you here because of the accident to Miss Bell earlier today at Hogsmeade. Do either of you wish to comment on the situation?

LOUISA SNAPE: Of course, sir, It’s terrible. Is she ok? Uncle… (Professor Dumbledore looks over his glasses and down his nose at her.) I mean Professor Snape must have acted very quickly.

PROFESSOR DUMBLEDORE: Indeed, he did, she is very lucky indeed to escape in the way that she has.

DRACO MALFOY: Why are WE being interrogated SIR?

PROFESSOR DUMBLEDORE: I assure you Draco, I will ask questions to many people that were in the area.

DRACO MALFOY: I was in DETENTION, SIR!

PROFESSOR DUMBLEDORE: As Professor McGonagall has Informed me Draco, however I must be fair to Miss Bell and her family and ask our students. You are a Prefect Mr Malfoy, it comes with responsibilities as does Miss Snape’s role as Head Girl.

LOUISA SNAPE: Of course, sir.

DRACO MALFOY: Sir.

PROFESSOR DUMBLEDORE: I ask simply that you keep you eyes and ears peeled for any signs of disturbance and if found you tell either Professor McGonagall or Professor Snape.

LOUISA SNAPE: Yes Professor.
