Love Potions

Chapter 3
So, I feel I am the perfect person to speak to you all about Love Potions in general. It is Albus Dumbledore who created the legend about my grandparents Merope Gaunt and Tom Riddle. How much of it is true I am unable to tell you but I very much doubt that things were as bad as he made out. He did have a fondness for embellishing the truth a little and making these kinds of suggestions would not be unlike him. He certainly enjoyed story telling and this is certainly a good story.

They say that those conceived under a love potion cannot feel love, believe me I have researched this quite a lot during my younger days and I have found that the mere fact that myself and my half-sister are alive starts to question that fact. I can but give you the facts and leave you to make up your own minds. I got to know him as a real person. In my personal opinion, it had more to do with nurture than nature. By that I mean the orphanage he was brought up in. It was not a nice place and the people were unkind.

If you would like to question this yourselves, I have “Muggle in me” and “Womanly Wiles” that are about Tom Riddle and Merope Gaunt.

Thank you all for your wonderful attention and good luck with you studies in Potions.
