Chapter 1
I couldn’t believe it when I was woken up at just past 5am on a crisp December morning. Professor McGonagall was standing over my bed and there wasn’t a whisper, not a sigh in the air that would indicate that anything sinister had happened overnight. Simply the glow in her eyes.

“Louisa, your uncle has asked that you go down to him at once. I can tell you nothing at the moment except that I am afraid there has been an unfortunate even that I am afraid you and Miss Granger need to be made aware of.”
She looked around the dorm and Hermione was standing in the doorway. Her hair even wilder than usual, I assumed she had been up studying late. I got up and followed them into the common room.

“I’m afraid that you should both be made aware that Arthur Weasley has been taken to St Mungo’s Hospital, after he was attacked just a while ago.” Said Professor McGonagall plainly. “Fred, George, Ron and Ginny are on their way to see their father.” It felt as though she was retelling a story in a book, not a real-life situation.

What happened professor? Was it bad? Was he in pain? His he going to be ok?

Louisa’s mind whirled with thoughts about what Molly had been last summer but not saying. When she couldn’t get rid of the boggart because she saw her family hurt. It was all coming true. She couldn’t believe it.

Diligently they both nodded and left the common room, Louisa to the dungeons and Hermione to her bedroom.
As she arrived, she was still in a state somewhere between asleep and shocked. Arthur Weasley? This was ridiculous, how could it be? She entered Professor Snape’s office without knocking, closed the door and sat down.

“What did you see?” interrogated Snape

“See?” she asked. “did you dream of snakes last night of Arthur Weasley!”

“NO! although…”

“although?”

“there was some white fog first and then a sort of black fog. A bit like the potion we mixed last week”

“hmm…no Weasley?”

“only Fred & George” she blushed furiously.

“I am not counting school friends Lou” he became decidedly uncomfortable, his ears turning red under his long hair.

“with me, now.” They marched straight to Professor Dumbledore’s office.

“Severus has there been a change?” asked Dumbledore.

“no Sir but I fear Louisa must not stay here.”

“you think her in danger?” enquired Dumbledore

“I think she needs to be kept safe, given the circumstances”. Replied Snape.

“Very well. However, the Weasleys and Harry have already left as you can see.” He motioned to the empty room around him.

“I will take her.” He pulled her out of the office and they disapparated. When they appeared they were standing at Kings Cross Station.

“Transfigure. Anything but a snake.”

“Should I transfigure you as well?” asked Louisa
