Gale doesn't come anymore. He only brings food every afternoon. I feel bad. Slightly. Why should I? He kissed Madge. Not Katniss. Madge. I hate him for that. I'm learning about plants. Mother, is well, and is teaching me. She has become the District's doctor. She said I cannot tell anyone what I know. My sister allayed with a girl named Rue. District 11. Agriculture. She is a lot like me. But she's dead. My sister sang her a song before she died. I had a bond with Rue. Through our minds. I could tell her anything. But now she is dead. I'm alone. But she would eventually have to die, and I'm glad Katniss didn't have to be the one to kill her. Hale came to my room today and apologized. No. No. No. I will not forgive him! He wasn't with Katniss. She is his destiny! I shut him out. Buttercup walks over and meows. I feel a tear trickle down my cheek. I'm crying. Again.
