Chapter 1
The Fox triplets and the Blood triplets whined to their parents to let them go out once they were all finished eating their dinners. Each set of parents looked at their children, into their matching puppy dog faces and agreed, just as long as the kids promised not to go anywhere alone.
"You're boys are good," stated Mrs. Fox as she and the other parents watched their kids make their way away from the two cabins. "I like how each of them tags along with one of our three girls."
"It is adorable," agreed Mrs. Blood. "Well, they're gone now, and I think six 10 year olds can take care of one another. How about we go back inside for some coffee?"
The adults agreed and went back into the Blood family cabin. There were only two cabins in the area because the two families had been friends since the parents were in high school together, so they were close to one another.
In the surrounding trees, the six kids split into three groups of two. They promised not to stray too far and to return to that spot once it got dark or they heard one of the adults call from the cabins for them to get back.
"Com on, Lynndziey," said Jaykob. "I want to show you something."
"Alright," she replied, laughing.
Jaykob took her hand and began leading her a different way through the trees as the others. The sound of birds and other creatures echoed around them, along with the crunching of their feet on the forest floor as they ran. Soon Lynndziey could see a break in the trees and the sound of water reached her ears. She looked behind her and could hardly see the designated meeting place.
"Are you sure we're not going too far?" she inquired.
"We're fine," answered Jaykob. "Anyway, we're here."
A giant waterfall dropped from above them into the river they stood beside. Though they were a few feet down the river, and on the other bank than the fall, it did not diminish it's beauty. Lynndziey got down on her knees and ran her hand across the surface of the cool water. Then she cupped her hand and threw water at Jaykob, splashing him.
"Hey!" he laughed as he splashed her back in return. "Oh, I gotta do something. I'll be right back."
She watched as he left, going back into the trees and soon disappearing within them. Turning back to the sight he had brought her here to see, Lynndziey saw movement out of the corner of her eye. Lecksi was across the river and a few feet into the trees from Lynndziey and she was making her way through the forest, getting closer to the waterfall. Lynndziey saw someone around her age, perhaps, following close behind her sister.

"What do you mean she can't be found!?" demanded Mr. Fox.
The Ranger held his ground and replied, "There is no trace of her and her body isn't anywhere around."
"How can she just vanish!?"
"I don't know, but we'll try our best to find your daughter."
"You better."
Once the Ranger left, Mr. Fox turned to the Blood family. "This is your fault."
"Excuse me?" asked Mr. Blood, instantly angry.
"Your son was the last person she was with."
"Don't accuse our boy of such a thing, none of them did anything to Lecksi."
"We'll see. Everyone go pack, the Fox's are leaving tonight. And be ready to pack up the rest of your things when er get home, we'll be moving as well."
"Honey, what do you eman?" inquired his wife.
"We need a change in sceneery."
