At dawn, Lily flies down and I step onto the island. The cool sand beneath my feet feels really relaxing. "Where to? Everything looks the same." Emma says. I smile, and motion for them to follow me. I shove through branches for a while until I find a small keypad. I enter 621998. May 2nd, 1998. That's when the final battle took place at Hogwarts. An elevator appears and we enter. It takes us underground, to an underground mansion. "What took you so long?" My dad snaps. "Oh, nothing, just some turbulence," I say. Father doesn't approve of Miranda, Kal, or even Ali. So I'll keep Miranda's visit my little secret. I'm good at lying, so my father only tells when I'm telling a huge lie. "We didn't have any turbulence," Demon says. "Yeah, because we were flying in different AREAS, idiot," I say and roll my eyes. Father glares at me. I roll my eyes again. "NOW, will you tell us why we had to leave?" I snap. "It's not safe there." He says. "NO SHIT!" I yell. "Parvati," Matt whispers. "Why," I say. "Did we have to leave." "I believe the Aurors know about me and your mother's existence," Dad says and glares pointedly at Ali. "My Lord, I assure you, I have nothing to do with this." She says. "She's right. Ali hasn't seen her father since summer." Alex says. I raise an eyebrow, Alex has never stood up for me, much less Ali. Dad just grunts. "Go claim your rooms," Mum says. Me and Matt run off together. We've been here once before, and we know which room we want. We rush up the stairs and enter the room nearest to the kitchen. It's a suite fit for 2, with a TV, a couch, a desk, 2 closets, a bathroom, and a mini-fridge. I smile at him. "I kinda wish we were at Hogwarts. "I know," I say. I bump Matt's shoulder. "Just think of this like a vacation," I say and kiss him. "I'm hungry," I announce and open the mini-fridge. I smile and the huge chocolate bar and take it out. I split it in half and I and Matt eat. I lay my head on his shoulder.
