What was I thinking? I invited Luna to slug horns party! Yet I liked how peculiar she acted. When she turned up she wore a weird grey frock. Cool. ‘Hi Harry! Nobody’s ever invited me to a party before! Thank you!’ She said brightly turning to me. ‘My pleasure Loon.......Luna.’ I said quickly. She smiled and inched a little closer to me. ‘Oh I don’t mind you calling me Loony!’ She laughed. Her eyes sparkled. Did I like her? After all she was loony love good. But she was so kind to me and I loved how peculiar she was! I stepped up to her, my nose inches from hers. ‘I like you Loony.’ I said and just before our mouths touched she whispered ‘I like you too.’ I put one hand on her waist, the other in her hair and she put her hands round my back. Her back was against the wall, and our mouths were attached. It was as if a jet of happiness had been blown through my mouth. Her mouth against mine drawing out my breath. Her lips were warm and she smelled like cocoa and radishes. Unusual! I loved it. After a while I broke apart my forehead against hers. Our hands were still where they were a minute ago when we were snogging. That was amazing! As if reading my mind she said ‘that was fun Harry!’ Happily. I smiled. ‘I think we have a party to go to!’ I said breathlessly. The rest of us broke apart and we started walking down the corridor. She entwined her hand in mine. ‘I have a better idea.’ and she took me into a classroom. There she pushed me against the wall. Once again the air was knocked out of me. We kissed into the night. Until we heard the people from slug horns party coming down the corridor. ‘We’ll see you Harry.’ She smiled madly. I love her, I thought, I love her for all she is. I didn’t sleep that night, I only thought of her.
