Chapter 1
There is a first time for everything, and you could say that being brought up by a former double agent my life was headed in a certain course from the start. Hence the reason for being taught Occlumency from a young age. The first time I saw myself headed for a career as an Auror was when I was in my sixth year. I took advice from my uncle, Professor Snape and worked with Professor Umbridge’s team of investigators. In addition to this I would feed information to my friends and help keep the investigators out of the way when they did a meeting. I was working both sides.
I think I did quite a good job too because Kingsley told me years later that he was impressed in the way I had dealt with the situation and helped Professor Dumbledore. I think it proved to him that I could be trusted. I was also adept, by that time, at human vanishment and was unseen to Professor Umbridge at most times.
I am just very glad I didn’t end up in pustules like Marietta Edgecombe. That is a warning to all that you should never sign anything without examining it first.
As I say this was only my first outing as an agent or whatever name you wish to give it. I have done my time on both sides but I guess you’ll just have to keep reading to find out more.
